I never worry about diets, the only carrots that interest me are the number of carats in a diamond. – Mae West.
Jewellery- the one-true-love of every woman, be it of any age. When you say jewellery in India though, your instant reaction is a picture of a very beautiful bride, wearing a heavier-than-life outfit, totally loaded with what seems like wearing a jewellery shop itself. Well, how much ever we mock it, deep-down we sure love to don that outfit, that blingy jewellery and be the centre of attraction for a day.
But that’s just for the D-day, what happens after that? As much as we would like to go to our workplace wearing that heavy ruby choker-neckpiece, you just can’t. No matter how smart-casual ur office dress code is. No! Don’t even think of it.
So does that mean, a modern-working-gal can’t have the bling in her life? Well, of course, she can. There is a jewellery for every occasion after all. And this me listing jewellery for every occasion.
Taking some inspiration from the soon to be seen as Serena Unger of XXX:Return of Xander Cage, a precious pearl necklace with a more precious stone pendant is the way to go at it. Plunging neckline or going bare shoulders,LBD or a gorgeous gown, an elegant and classy piece is the way to it.

So, it’s a party/event with the people you work with more people at work that you might not even know. The dressing will be tricky, as surely you can’t wear a revealing number, but you also can’t compromise on the oomph factor. So, here’s taking some inspiration from the style diva on some corporate party dressing, the way her statement necklace completes the look. Just can’t take eyes off her.

We love celebrating everything the extravaganza way. The Mehendi, the sangeet, a grand Shaadi, with a grander reception, the list just doesn’t end. And thus, a girl is always on the hunt for different looks. So here’s taking a little inspiration from the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo‘s actress, donning a Manish Malhotra chiffon saree and some brilliant pearl detailing. The pearls are what’s making the outfit a sure-to-be head turner.

4.Feeling a bit fancy
Taking some celeb inspiration from this model wearing a nose ring, attached to a chain that goes all the way back to her ears, definitely grunge I say. Because wearing it on a traditional attire is too mainstream. Wear it on an off-shoulder ruffled top or a tube dress and experience the jaw-dropping effect as you pass by.

5.Red Carpet ready
You can wear a lot of jewellery with a saree, but what about when the blouse is a fine piece of jewellery itself. Well sure if you are the Bollywood style diva Malaika Arora Khan, you can get along just fine wearing a diamond encrusted bustier worth 1.3 million euros.

Valentine’s, birthdays, anniversaries, job promotions, there are tons of special days that you need to dress up real special for your love. Hence, taking some inspiration from the We Found Love singer, who’s totally rocking this diamond necklace, and the way she’s styled it matching the ruby to her lips and dress – shining bright like a diamond.

Jewellery is a thing that can make or break an outfit, so it’s very important to choose it wisely. Always remember ” Jewellery has the power to be one thing that can make you feel unique”.
And if anyone tells you that you have enough jewellery and you don’t need to buy anymore. Stop talking to them, immediately. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life!
Until next time….. XOXO
